CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
- Initial consultation. typically, an hour long. Designer and client overview questionnaire packet to make sure both are good fit, and services can be rendered.
- Discuss clients project regarding needs, preferences, goals and budget.
- Site visits to get familiar with site and take any measurements to be carried out for modeling of existing dwelling (if needed).
- Space planning and concept development – prepare preliminary concepts for the interior design and finishes, present suggestions for products/fixtures/fittings for the home, utilizing mood boards and physical samples (where available).
- Detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings (if applicable).
- Ordering samples and products on your behalf.
- Emailing, calls, office-based work.
PHASE 2:
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
- Finalize all interior selections (fixtures, fittings, finishes) for the entire home.
- Prepare scaled interior design documentation with plans/elevations/set outs for tender/construction purposes.
- Prepare lighting and electrical plans.
- Prepare Fixtures, Fittings and Finishes Schedule for the finalized interior design selections.
- Visits to suppliers to pick up samples/products on your behalf.
- Emailing, calls, office-based work.
PHASE 3:
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD
- Coordinate and arrange the purchase of items such as fixtures, fittings, finishes, lighting, flooring.
- Visits to suppliers to pick up products or samples on your behalf.
- Emailing, calls, office-based work, as required.
- Start discussion and planning if client will add Phase 5 to project
PHASE 4:
WALK THROUGH & FINAL TOUCHES
- Conduct a final walkthrough to assess the completed project.
- Evaluate finishing details and address any final adjustments.
- Coordinate any last-minute styling or refinements to ensure a polished result.
- Review the project with the client to ensure satisfaction.
- finalize all product and selection information for client handover package.
- Start implementing Phase 5 if client has decided and agreed to this phase.
- Create a proposal for the agreed upon scope of work for phase 5.
PHASE 5:
FURNISH & ACCESSORIES
- Develop a design concept and furniture package for furniture, soft furnishings, Window treatments, art, and accessories for entire home, utilizing existing pieces client possesses.
- This phase is undertaken concurrently with Phase 1 to ensure a cohesive design.
- Visit suppliers to select furniture/accessories on your behalf.
- Placement and coordination of trade orders for all furniture/accessories.
- Emailing, calls, office-based work, as required.
